Living Joy Women’s Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry “Living Joy” is lead by Pastor Marilyn Morton and assisted by Patty Bellamy.   Pastor Marilyn encourages the women of Living Joy Ministries to stand firm on the words declared by Nehemiah in chapter eight verse ten  “The joy of the Lord is your strength.”  Nehemiah was a trusted servant of the king of Persia and a mighty servant of Jehovah God.  Through many trials, hardships, difficulties and setbacks Nehemiah accomplished the work of God set before him.   As women of God, when we face many of life’s challenges, setbacks, heartaches, or pain, in the midst of it all we can stand strong and declare as Nehemiah did “The joy of the Lord is MY strength.”   Knowing that life is not always kind and we may find ourselves facing difficulties, pressures and sometimes, tragedy, Pastor Marilyn’s passion is to encourage women to lift their voices and declare “The Joy of the Lord is My Strength.” Sometimes, there may not be anything we can do to change things that threaten to overwhelm us, but as women of God filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, we must know we have His strength and power to overcome all things despite the circumstance, because of the Lord’s strength within us.   Being confident that the Joy of the Lord is our strength, we will receive His strength, grace and mercy to make it through with a song of praise in our hearts.

Living Joy Ministry, is committed to establishing women in their walk with the Lord, through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  Our ministry includes building relationships with one another, building strong mature spiritual lives through retreats, monthly fellowships and hosting our yearly women’s conference Fresh Fragrance.” We encourage women to use their gifts for His service and walk in their God given destiny.

We encourage you to join us on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. for “Joy Fellowship.”   Pastor Marilyn, one of our ladies, or a quest minister will bring an encouraging message from the Holy Spirit to help us in our daily walk with the Lord.   Remember, THE JOY OF THE LORD IS YOUR STRENGTH.
