Lauren was born and raised in Spring, Texas. Being raised in a pastor’s home with both parents filled with the Holy Spirit and embracing the awesome power of God, Lauren has always been taught to cherish God’s amazing love. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 7. It wasn’t until she was almost 18 that she fully understood what that truly meant for her life. During a revival she felt the tugging of the Holy Spirit to completely receive all that He had for her. That night after she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues her life began unfolding like a beautiful butterfly in the hands of God. Lauren received a vision from the Lord in which she saw herself speaking in front of thousands of youth. Knowing that God wanted her to serve Him in the body of Christ to minister to youth, she began praying and seeking Him for directions. Lauren pursued the call to the youth by taking courses in a community college in public speaking and counseling. She was then led by the Lord to attend Texas Bible Institute in Columbus, Texas where she graduated after two years with a ministerial diploma. Upon graduating, she served on staff at Discovery Camp for the summer of 2008. Lauren joined the ministry team of Living Word World Outreach Church as youth pastor in August of 2008. Lauren has a passion to lead youth into their calling and identity in Christ by listening to the Holy Spirit and daily seeking God’s face.
